The post and page title area has four editable parts.
- Header Image –
Appearance > Customize > Header Image– the background image can be changed here. Upload your own image or remove the default suggested image in the customizer. If you remove the image, you will have the option of selecting a block background color instead, or there is also the option to make this area transparent so that the site background image or color is visible.
- Icon –
Appearance > Customize > Theme Options– the icon before the title can be changed here, and with over 700 icons to choose from there is sure to be a suitable icon for your website. There are three different settings for the title icon. Page Title Icon, Blog Title Icon and Shop Title Icon. The page title icon is displayed on all standard pages. The blog title icon is displayed on your individual posts as well as the blog index and blog archives. The shop title icon is only used if you have the WooCommerce plugin installed and activated. This icon is displayed on your product category/archive pages as well as the cart, checkout and account pages. The single product pages will first display a small thumbnail image of the product if it exists and will use the shop title icon if no product image exists. If you do not wish to display an icon, simply select ‘NONE’ from the icon selection.
- Title – this is the title of the current post, page, category, tag, archive or product.
- Excerpt – the excerpt of your post or page is displayed here. The Trusted theme supports page excerpts, which are optional hand-crafted summaries of your page/post content. If you cannot see the excerpt area in the page/post editor, click on ‘Screen Options’ in the top right of the page editor and make sure the box next to ‘Excerpt’ is checked.
