    how to modify the footer?

    In your dashboard go to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Widgets’

    You will see a widget area named “Copyright Area”.

    Add any of your available widgets (Text, Custom HTML, Image etc…) to the Copyright Area and your own content will then be displayed instead of the the “Powered by WordPress…” text.
