[Resolved] backup customizations

    I have backed up my customizations and want to upload new theme release.  How do I restore the customizations once I install the new themes release?

    Are you referring to customizations made in the theme customizer at Appearance > Customize?

    If so, this is saved in the database of your WordPress site, so updating the theme will not affect this, and you don’t need to do any kind of backup and restore.
