The four feature sections on my home page have social links listed which causes a mis-alignment for the Read More button and makes it look cluttery. I read the documentation and noticed on your features screen shot, there are no social links. I’ve looked everywhere to remove them and nothing is working. How do I get rid of them? Thanks so much! Also, maybe consider being able to link to Posts rather than just Pages on the Hero sliders. Thanks again!

You have a plugin installed – Simple Social Buttons – which is inserting those social media share buttons.
I would suggest asking the author of that plugin how to remove them.
As a quick fix, could you try adding this CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
#featured-post-section .simplesocialbuttons{display:none;}
