For some reason this theme isn’t allowing me to choose a featured image in the articles.

All the Blog posts I had already posted, in the theme I had before, show the featured image, but the one article I created after installing Exoplanet, every time i try to add the image, it show a transparent image selected and doesn’t load any other image I choose.

Do you have “Post Type Switcher” plugin activated?

This is the same issue you are seeing: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/featured-image-is-blank/ and it seems that plugin was causing it.

I’m pretty sure it’s not the theme causing this, it is most likely a plugin conflicting with core WordPress functionality or another plugin.

Could you de-activate your acitve plugins one at a time and see if the problem goes away?

Problem solved.

Andy did an amazing job trying to help me, he took the time to go into my website and testing it.

turns out it was the “Woocommerce PDF Invoices and Packing Slips Free” plugin. It was messing with the WordPress code.

If anyone finds a similar problem turn off the plugins one by one.
