How to change ‘This is the hand crafted excerpt for the blog index page’

I want to edit the example excerpt ‘This is the hand crafted excerpt for the blog index page’ for ‘Blog’ page. But I did not find anywhere to make the change.  I tried to edit the ‘Blog’ page, but the edit page was blank.

Anyone can help?

The excerpt can be edited in the “Excerpt” text area.

If you cannot see the excerpt, then click on ‘Screen Options’ and make sure the []Excerpt option is selected. Now the excerpt will be visible and you can edit it.
