Posts out of order

I just noticed that the posts in our News section are out of order. After reading some other sites, this might be a theme issue?

Your posts are ordered by published date, with the most recently published first.

The theme does not control this order or change it, as it is set by WordPress core, or possibly by a plugin that lets you change the ordering.
For example there may be plugins that order posts by modified date, or in reverse order etc.
Make sure you don’t have any such plugins active, or if you do there should be some settings in the plugin to change the posts order.

Ok. For some reason it’s using the last updated date, not the publish date.
